NMCS is now opening SUMMER CARE registration for all families that wish to sign up for specific days and weeks, without committing to the whole summer.

Can you imagine how much fun students are going to have learning about shipwrecks and treasures? What do you think they will do during our earth, wind, and fire theme? Imagine the dinner giggles families will enjoy during mysteries and riddles week! What might they create during the Let’s Go LEGO adventure?

From Pioneers and Settlers to Thinking Outside the Box our staff has been hard at work preparing for a fun-filled summer! Below you will find a list of our 10 Themed Weeks and the 42 Attributes of God that your kids can experience during Summer Care.

Whether you need summer care for a few days or weeks or are simply looking for an opportunity for your kids to enjoy a week or two of learning adventures, NMCS is here for you!

Important Notes

The cost is $45.00 per day, per student, which will be billed monthly. Please note you may now enroll your student for the day/week and you will not have to committ to the whole summer. However, upon registration you must register for all the days in which you would like to enroll your student(s) in summer care.

Breakfast, lunch and snacks will NOT be provided in Summer Care. Please make sure your child eats breakfast prior to coming and be sure to send your child with a packed lunch every day. Parents receive a labeled Ziploc bag at the beginning of the summer, in which to place individual snacks for children (2 snack times will be available throughout the day for Summer Care students).

Summer Care will begin on Monday, June 5 and end on Friday, August 18. Summer Care will NOT be offered the week of July 3 - 7. Hours for Summer Care will be from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm on Monday - Friday.

Comet Summer Care curriculum will be based on a "Summer Camp" model. Each week our students will be learning about unique subjects and interests as well as the 42 Attributes of God. You can find a list of our Summer Care themes here!

Meet Our Staff

Mrs. Susan Dick will be joining us for Summer 2023 as our Summer Care Director. Mrs. Dick is currently the Director of our Rising Stars Program. She has a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education and over 25 years of experience. In her spare time, she loves to read and bake and she is involved in the Falmouth Youth Show!

Miss Susan and her husband, Gordon, attend Prosper CRC and they love to spend time with their grandchildren.

Miss Maggie Yount will be joining us, pending state licensing, for Summer 2023

as our Summer Care Lead Teacher. Maggie graduated from NMCS in 2022 and

has been in the process of completing state requirements for her early childhood

license. She is currently serving as a preschool teacher at Byron Center Public

\School’s Early Childhood Center. She is eager to be back with us this summer

where she can share her passion for working with kids. Miss Yount said, “I can't

wait to see how God will bless her time at NMCS this summer!” In her free time,

she loves to spend time with her family and enjoying time outdoors.
